Tasting Notes

NOSE

Grassiness of heather and hay. Flowery notes of geraniums and freesias. Granny Smith apples and some coffee green. Wet stones and touch of chalk as well. It’s all very fresh and lively.

TASTE

Again ‘greenish’ notes of artichokes, thyme and barley sugar. Rose citronella cinnamon bark and orange rind.

FINISH

Medium long. The spices of white pepper. Pine at the end.

Teaninich Distillery

Founded in 1817 - Teaninich was an early legal distillery built on the edge of the northern town of Alness, close to Glenmorangie. Teaninich is a rare eastern Highland single malt.
A well-rounded Highland single malt whisky with light salty flavors making a fine aperitif. A crisp, dry, and appetizing malt that starts fresh and orange sweet with a long and dry finish.
