Tasting Notes

NOSE

Light, malty cereal notes. Faint sweetness.

Dailuaine Distillery

Founded 1852 - The world of blending whisky is a complex one, but in essence malts are graded and the distillers trade their malts with each other, ensuring that all of them have the widest flavor portfolio to create their blends from.
Dailuaine is one of several distilleries that has received substantial investment, and it produces three different types of flavored malts specifically for blending. When it has been bottled as a single malt it has tended to be matured in ex-sherry casks.
