Tasting Notes

NOSE

Grassy, honeycomb, almost caramel malty notes on the nose.

TASTE

Barley sugar, chocolate, sweet honey note – crunchie bar. Crème brûlée.

FINISH

Gentle warm spice, long, rich and peppery.

Benrinness Distillery

Founded in 1826 - The Benrinnes Distillery was founded in 1826, but three years later it was totally destroyed in a flood. A new distillery was built close to the original in 1834, and in 1842 it took the name of the landmark been it was built on, and which provides water to several distilleries close by.
